First, I don't see any discussion of the GPSmap units: Is there an other forum that concentrates on Marine unit use?
If not, I'm trying to gain access to the ability to graphically add waypoints to a route.
If I set up a route with a single waypoint, then press "MAP" to view the "route," I get an arrow cursor with "add" under it. Indeed, if I then use the slew keys to highlight indicated waypoints on the map, I can easily construct a "chain" of waypoints and build a complete route.
However, if I go into a route already containing more than one waypoint, the map view cursor no longer includes the "add" graphic.
None of this is discussed in the manual or on this site. Is there some way to invoke the "graphic add" function on already existing routes?
