Easiest way to alter a map?

I have my routes on Garmin connect. I've noticed on a few some obvious errors that I would like to fix. IE is there a way I can trim the end off a route? Sometimes I have forgotten to turn it off and it maps my journey home after a workout in the car.

Whats the easiest way to trim this bit off?
  • I wouldn't say it is "easy," but you can download the xml file and edit it in notepad or an xml editor. Then manually upload it back to GC. The easiest way would be to post a link to the problematic activity and beg for someone to repair it for you. :D

    Trim a route?

I am not using Garmin Connect, but browsing; so I'd be looking to the Training Center Program for what you are trying to do. On the other hand, BaseCamp (the Garmin program) allows you to manage waypoints and routes. The question then becomes: If I alter a route in BaseCamp, what happens to the associated data from the workout? Is it trimmed appropriately also? It's a fair question and you might answer it by trial an error if you backed up appropriately and were able to recover your data should it prove unacceptable.
