How to view an activity in Google Maps

GC has an option to export to Google Earth. But I want to see my activity in Google Maps. Using the old MotionBased site this was a one click option. Does anyone know how I can do this w GC? I am tired of only having the window that they provide for Google Maps. I tried copying the link GC provides for Google Earth and I entered this in the Google Maps like a kml link (which works for valid kml files). But even this fails...

Thanks

Looking for the same thing - just want the nice, simple, full sized Google Maps without having to use a third party site.

Option 1 I just found was to right click on the Google Earth link, then paste that into Google Maps. Workable if you click off everything except the main track. Second option is this thread which I'll play with.

Really Garmin - why remove that ease of use in the first place? Posted on FB about how to do this and had a bunch of people come back with "Buy an Android."

Love the hardware....the software philosophy is frustrating.
