3790T and POIs

Why don't I see any (Garmin) POI while in View Map mode on my 3790T? I zoomed in all the way and still see nothing. I've just recently update the software and the maps to the latest versions. I can search on the POI but I don't see them in View Map mode. I also don't see my Custom POIs either but I see then in the Extras list.

Any help would be appreciated.

    From Garmin's FAQ:
Question: Does my nuvi 3700 series unit display POI icons on the map?

    Answer:
The nuvi 3700 series units will only display icons on the map for your saved Favorites and any custom POI files that you may have installed. You will need to zoom in the map to 200 feet or closer to view the custom POI icons. The preloaded points of interest (restaurants, hotels, attractions, etc.) will not be displayed on the map as icons.

It would appear that Garmin doesn't want to support displaying preloaded POIs on their premiere GPS.

Very bad decision. I see in other forums that I am not alone with this opinion.

It also sure would be nice if there was a Garmin presence on their own forums.

... but Sg/Mal firmware v2.20 (nuvi 3790) can show POI icons.
    It isn't fair
