Some of this may have been mentioned in other threads, but I thought helpful to reiterate these "feature requests", as it pertains to power training. Note, I am using v2.4 firmware now.

To comport with common practices in power training,

Add data fields to show
1) Peak or maximum 5 second power in current lap (not the same as "moving average").
2) Peak/maximum 1 min second power in current lap .
3) Peak/maximum 5 min second power in current lap .
4) Peak/maximum 20 min second power in current lap .

The following requests may be applicable to most or all powermeters, but definitely apply to PowerTap (I'm most familar with PT).

5) Edge500's "Calibrate" is misleading. What it's really doing is manually setting the Zero under no-torque/no-power conditions.
Maybe it should be called "Manual Zero", "Zero Adjust", "Set Zero", Zero Offset", or something similar.

6) A real "Check Calibration" function. ie, setup the Powertap for a "Stomp" torque test, and display the torque on the Edge500.

Note the Powertap is not user calibratible for "full scale" or "slope", the PT has to go back to CycleOps/Saris.

"Check Calibration" would let us check this critical parameter in the field. The CycleOps Joule 2.0 computer has this feature.
