Android App for Edge 500

Would love to see an Android App that allows me to attach my Edge 500 to my Android Phone (DroidX) via USB port and upload my data to the Garmin Connect website.

Perhaps they should make future versions simply have bluetooth and then any model of modern phone could be used to upload your data while out in the field, on a camping trip, immediately after a Tri. :)

I´m on the same train! Going to Mallorca in spring 2011 wanting to tease my buddys at home with some nice routes in the sun.

I hope the developers at Garmin reads this post before any other.

Is it possible at all to connect the Edge 500 and get it to work? It must install som kind of driver/plugin to the browser?

I'd love it also. Garmin would take a huge step ahead relating competitors
