In the Oregon series...
Would there be any chance of getting a quantity notification of caches and waypoints currently in the GPS? Somewhere in the menus a place that tells how many Caches or Waypoints are currently loaded into the GPS.
The reason I'm asking is today I went Geocaching. I had uploaded a little over 4000 Geocaches into the unit and left to go do some caching. When I turned the GPS on outside the house it locked up while updating the Geocaches about 1/2 the way through the boot process. I had to remove the battery and restart the boot. When I got to where I was going, 200 miles away, I restarted the GPS again just to find the caches for that area weren't in the GPS. I suspect it had something to do with the boot lockup.
If there were a way to see how many caches were in the unit I would have seen that some of my caches were missing and redone the upload before leaving town.
Just an FYI, this is only the 2nd time the GPS has locked up after uploading a fresh batch of caches in the month or so that I've had an Oregon 450.
