tracking trends over time

I'm maybe missing something? How do I plot things such as, say, average pace a function of time? i.e. generate a plot showing my average pace across multiple runs (spanning weeks or months)

This would be invaluable, for example, to track progress throughout the year towards a goal. e.g. ideally, I'd be able to see my average pace increase over time as I approach a critical race.

Thanks!

If you have a PC, do yourself a huge favor and take a look at SportTracks. I think you'll find the reporting and analysis capabilities much more useful for spotting long term trends. You can do things like overlay weekly mileage with an average pace chart over time for a specific season and type of training.

Hey Watchmerun...thanks for the tip. I actually already discovered this independently and the new version seems to read the Garmin FIT files directly. Perfect solution. Cheers...
