Trouble getting a route to work on Zumo 450

I've never used this forum before and do so now because I'm having trouble getting a route I transferred from Garmin MapSource to my Zumo to work. The map looks fine on MapSource, and when I tried to transfer it to my Zumo (I'm using the built in memory not the SD card) the Zumo says the transfer was successful. Indeed, when I go to "routes" the name of the route I transferred is there

However, when I select that route and hit "go" a message comes up on the Zumo saying "unable to calculate route to destination".

The Zumo has worked fine in all other ways since I bought it and this is the first time I've tried to load a route onto it.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated since I'm a motorcycle escort this coming weeking for the Tour de Cure bicycle fund raiser near Portland.

OK, I'll answer my own question-sort of....

Apparently, with the Zumo 450 (don't know about the newer models) you have to use an SD card to use the GPX format map. Before I learned that, I was able to use the GPC format apparently successfully just using the Zumo's internal memory. I say "apparently" because though the route appears on te GPS I haven't yet done a test run to see if it actually tracks correctly.
