Editing Activities

Hi, does anyone know if I can edit an activity in GC? I forgot to turn off my 110 after running up to Chicago Peak here in Telluride and now my activity includes some miles of 4WD off roading in my car. I just want to cut off that last portion of the activity. Any ideas?

I've been reading some previous posts from 2009 and nothing from then but maybe now its been added?

Seems like an important function, also for people training indoors who want to add distance manually later...
  • Try downloading tcx converter.
You will be able to do it, it is not very friendly but certanly you can get the track properly edited.

There are several and continue requests for a feature that will allow to split a history track, from several users. It is a long overdue feature that Garmin should consider doing ASAP.

    Gigas.

    edit events

I too am frustrated with the inability to edit data entered through an upload from my 305 Edge. If for some reason the device was not turned off and recorded data after my training was completed, I need to write down pertinent data, delete the recorded event and then enter the "correct" data manually.

    inability to edit activities

It must be a very common thing for people to forget to turn off their Garmin and then hop in the car. Suddenly your 6 mile workout becomes 20 miles with car speed average mph. Surely Garmin software should adapt features that would allow editing of the activities- to be able to cut off the activity at one point as a minimum.

just click on the icon to edit the activity, and then replace the time/distance/calorie items by hand.

you want to split an activity, use SportTRacks
