Garmin Connect - Change Activity Date and Time Manually

After transferring data from Forerunner 310XT to Garmin Connect, two activities had the wrong dates and times. It showed that were done or will be done on Oct. 17, 2011. The other activities that were transferred had the correct date and time.

On Garmin Connect, how can I change the date and time? I know I can go to the pencil and edit information. But there is not the option to change the date and time.

I can create a new activity with the correct date and time but I can not transfer "copy and paste" the data.

Please advise solutions,

    Adjusting date and time

    Maybe last nights fireworks messed up the satellites, ;) because the same thing happened to me, only the date was the previous day, about 10 hours earlier than my actual workout. I can't figure out how to edit it either.

    I figured out my error (it seems most of the time its MY error!) :eek: I started the timer and GPS last night while trying to figure out something else. I stopped the timer and GPS but didn't 'reset' and then delete it. So this morning when I started my run the watch continued the workout from last night. Could it be that you were playing with the time/date aspect of the watch during the two days when your workouts were recorded erroneously ?

    No, I was not playing with the timer. I believe the problem comes from when the GPS is off. The watch does not have internal memory that remember the last time and date and set the current time and date without the GPS.
    Still, Garmin Connect should have the option to change the time and date manually to correct the problem.

    I have the same problem when I do my indoors bike session.
    As my time in the 310XT is set as automatic, it gets the time & date from the GPS. But when I train indoors, I get the activities dated in 2007.

    Solutions please??

    different problem, same day!

    Sounds a bit different to my issue https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?p=60401#post60401 but strange that it was also 17 October when I got problems, still no solution or explanation...

    You can download your tcx file and open it in notepad for example and change the dates manually in there. you could probably do a search replace on -2011 to -2010, no harn in trying. then just load it back in manually.

    I too have the same issue when indoors...is there a solution? The only way I've figured out a 'work-around" is to sync up the watch outside, disable GPS, then go inside--not optimum, but it works.

    Can't Change Date

    I'm having the same problem...I ran tonight without going outside to get GPS signal and now my run's date is Dec. 31 of 1989...Please help! How can I change the date manually???
