Hints, Deleting and Icon Size

I just got my Garmin 450 Oregon, The Jury is still in deliberation on the unit. I replaced my 60Csx with this unit after the USB quit.

My first question is; Where are the Geocaching Hints? I've looked high and low, can't find them.

My second question is; Why can't I delete caches after I find them from the Geocaching list. That was an amazingly useful feature on the 60, helped de-cluttered the screen as I found caches. The inability to delete caches off the Geocaching list is a pretty big disappointment. I read somewhere it was because users were accidentally deleting caches they didn't want to delete. Well, I'd rather have the feature and answer the question, 'Are You Sure You Want To Delete.'

And third, Is there any way to make the cache icon BIGGER!!! I cache off a motorcycle and that little bitty microscopic symbol is pretty hard to see,

    Found one answer

I found the answer to the hints problem here...

    http://garminoregon.wikispaces.com/Geocaching#x-Finding%20a%20Geocache%20Using%20the%20Oregon%20or%20Dakota

I took the GPS out and found a new local cache that I've been avoiding after reading the above information. The Hints page came up and I got it logged.

Now for the delete. What I would normally do next would be delete the cache. On the 60Csx I never used Geocaching mode. I just found the caches as waypoints. Once the cache was found I'd delete it off the map. That helped clean up the screen and avoided confusion on the return trip. I noticed the Oregon changes the icon to an open chest but it's still too small to be visually useful.

The Icons are WAY too small for use on a motorcycle or even a car for that mater. Especially since I need reading glasses and don't wear them while riding or driving. The 60Csx had a good sized decent icon. The icon size needs a fix but I'm hoping to find a icon size adjustment somewhere in the GPS. No luck there yet.

One problem resolved, two to go.

    Another thought on deleting

If there is no delete, how about adding the ability to just inhibit a found cache from showing up on the map. That would work for me. (Along with larger icons.)

    Icon and Text sizes.

Still no answer on Icon and Text size in the Oregon 450. The Geocaching icons are painfully small and the scale text at the top of the screen is so small it's not visible. This is not a visually impaired friendly GPS. Those are the two main things I'd like to see either made user adjustable or just enlarged. The 60Csx had much larger icons and the scale test was see-able without squinting too much.
