Garmin nuvi 205W connecting to pc problem

Please help need assistance in connecting this device to my computer i am using windows 7 operating system and i tried already to windows xp but still giving me same error..

Hi!
Have you tried getting a new USB Cable?
The Garmin Nuvi 205W 4.3 really has a problem with Windows 7. But it should not be the case with Windows XP.

Hi, same problem here : My new 205w is not connecting to Windows7.... Has Garmin developed the path to solve it? I wont roll back to Windows XP, guys..... Thanks.

PD:Serial no. is 1UR617861.
