1390T does not see Ecoroute software update on WebUpdater

Hi All, just after some help with my newly purchased 1390T from WOW here in Brisbane Australia. I bought it primarily to connect to the Ecoroute HD which I bought at the same time.

When I started the 1390T for the first time I found no software for the Ecoroute HD. So I went to the Webupdater to find it. I found alot of other updates which i loaded, but no sign of the Ecoroute HD software the manual promised.

To confirm this I connected the Ecoroute HD to my car's (Mazda 3 MPS-Mazdaspeed) OBD-II port. The LED flashed in green 3 at a time. The manual suggests it's trying to connect to the 1390T. On the 1390T I went to the Ecoroute tab and found no extra icon to start the installation of the Ecoroute HD.

So what now?

    Any resolution yet. I have the exact devices and problem. I'm on hold with Garmin support right now but having a really long wait.

    Just talked to Garmin support. They pulled the SW from web updater that includes the ecoRoute HD feature. Must have had some issues or bugs. It will be reposted soon (a few days). The version will be 4.20. I currently have 3.20 installed which is the latest currently available for the 1390T. I suppose if someone updated a while ago they would have gotten the version that supports ecoRoute HD before Garmin pulled it.

    I'm back on the phone now with Garmin Support Australia. They have a file they can send me, but it's 10M in size so they can't email.

    They're going to put it on a mirrow site.

    I'll let you know once I have it.

    Have YOU spent every day on the phone with Garmin Support trying to convince them to email you a firmware update? I doubt it.

    Or are you just too lazy to form a sentence?

    MARKDOYLE, have you had any luck with the link I sent you last night?

    My 1390 is now at v3.71 (it was v3.7).

    For the record, I’m able to see the HD Configure option come up on my Nuvi 1390. Unfortunately it was unable to detect the Ecoroute HD plugged into the car.

    Back to Garmin I go!

    No, I just purchased my 1390 and HD paying rush shipping so I would have it for a trip I am taking tomorrow.

    As far as forming a complete sentence. You caught me. I was running late for work and didn't take the time to finish the sentence.

    And I have spent several hours on the phone with Garmin support but not lifetime you seem to have spent.
