I saved a location and under edit I came upon Change Catagories and was allowed to create a NEW. I did that but I have no idea where to locate it as that catagory shows up nowhere :confused:
I just finished editing a saved favorite to check this out.
I brought up the favorite and chose <edit>
I then chose <change category> which gave me the opportunity to add a new category and I typed in "bike rally" and saved.
Now when I choose <Where to> and I select <favorites>, "Bike Rally" is one of the categories that I can choose from, along with the original default categories that came with the device.
When I choose <Where to / Favorites / Bike Rally>, the favorite that I edited is listed for me to select.
I hope this helps clarify.

I also edited another favorite and when I chose <change category>, then "Bike Rally" was one of the available category choices and I checked that. So now <Where to / Favorites / Bike Rally> lists my two rallies that I've set up so far in that category.
That's the way mine use to work until I just updated the software to fix an audio problem.
I have created 5 different categories but I can't save any of the addresses to them.
Under the favorites there are no categories displayed, only addresses of what I have entered. I use to be able to go to edit and then save the address to a selected category.
Ugh, a love/hate relation with software.
