Unable to upload .fit files to Garmin Connect

I am having trouble importing .fit files to Garmin Connect. I import my outdoor ride information to Garmin Connect and that worked fine until yesterday. I now get an error message that reads, "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again."

You can try running it through FIT File Viewer . This will often repair the file or at least tell you what is wrong with it. 
 If you try to import into Garmin Connect and receive any message other than &ldquo;Import Complete,&rdquo; there&rsquo;s likely an issue with the file. Attach it to this thread, and we&rsquo;ll check if it can be repaired. 
 
 Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK. 
 Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service , such as OneDrive , Google Drive , Dropbox , make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
