1390 and eco route HD lock up

I am going on to my third 1390 in less than 2 weeks. The first two have locked to a flashing garmin then white screen less than 24 hours after receiving. Anyone else had this problem?

Tech support cannot help unfreeze and I have had to return both units.

Latest software and maps were installed before using for the first time. Both times it was connected to the eco route HD just before it forze up.

Thnaks in advance.

I am using an 1390t with the ecoRoute HD and have not had any lockups yet. However, I had several lockups when connecting to my phone via BT prior to the update. I used the Garmin webupdater to update the firmware from 3.xx to 4.02 (I think...will need to check later) before I could use the ecoRoute HD and have not had any problems since.

Be sure to install the bluetooth update for your 1390 when using the webupdater as I believe that should address the freezing problem you're seeing. Good luck!

My 1390T just locked up this morning, and is doing the exact same thing. I have tried to reset it and connect it to the webupdate, but it still will not do anything but flash the garmin screen.

If you find any solutions to this issue, let me know.

Customer Support couldn't solve the issue, so it is now RMA'd.
