Currency symvol

I have a Nuvi 255W, and it shows the fuel cost with the British pound symbol. How do I get the Nuvi to display the cost in US dollars?

The currency that is used for EcoRoute is the same as the currency defined for your current locale. Your locale is defined during the initial setup wizard and can only be changed through full settings reset. (Tools->Settings->Reset)
