I've joined it and Garmin Connect reckons I've done 270.4km since 1 July.
Except if I export my rides from Connect - almost exclusively virtual in this quarter - I have actually ridden and logged 1,911.16km. Of those, only 32.63km were on the road and recorded with my fēnix. So it's not as though Connect is only measuring real life rides.
