I’ve used quite a few apps and activity trackers over the years. About eight years ago, I switched from Runtastic to Garmin, and for the past few years I’ve also been using watches from the Fenix series.
One feature I always found really motivating with other providers was having a world map showing all the places where I’ve completed activities such as swimming, hiking, etc. Basically, it was my own personal activity world map, which I could also filter by specific activity types.
For example, I could display a world map showing all the places where I had ever gone swimming, with the individual routes becoming visible when zooming in. Or I could filter it to show all the places around the world where I had been hiking.
Is something like this planned for the Garmin Connect app or website at some point, or is it unlikely that Garmin will introduce such a feature?
