I'm having a problem with the Garmin Connect web version (desktop browser).
Whenever I plan a route or open an existing planned route and try to edit, I can no longer change the route by dragging one of the route points.
For example:
- If I want to extend the route, I grab the endpoint or a point in the middle and drag it onto another road or trail.
- If I want to shorten the route, I drag the endpoint (or one of the mid-points) back toward the start to adapt the route.
While I'm dragging, everything looks normal. I see the light blue (straight) preview lines showing where the new route would roughly go. However, as soon as I release the mouse button, nothing happens and no changes are applied. Curiously, this is only true for the end point and the markers in between. The starting point can still be dragged around and the route changes accordingly.
I've also tried:
- saving the route anyway and opening it.
- undoing and starting over,
- creating new points,
- editing different routes.
- using different browsers and computers.
Nothing helps. Existing routes simply can't be modified anymore.
Has anyone else experienced this recently, or is there a known fix?
