This "feature" appeared with soft upgrade 6.20 ->6.40. We are using Estonian language. We are utilizing FMI.
Amongst setup screens there is a window "security" that has 2 buttons. The default setting is "Garmin Lock" OFF, "Safe Mode" ON.
1. I turn "Safe Mode" OFF manually.
2. After some time I notice that "Safe Mode" is ON again (I cannot set a new destination)- even when not driving.
3. In settings, button "Safe Mode" has disappeared from security window. There is only "Garmin Lock" Off button left.
4. The only way to fix this is to "hard reset" the device and turn "Safe Mode" OFF manually. Rinse and repeat.
Is there a way around this "feature"?
Like changing default settings into "safe mode" OFF?
