I'm using Garmin GPSMap 60Cx device to record my cycling activities and upload them to Garmin Connect. During the summer I'm planning to cycle 1800-1900km in two weeks, without Internet connection available during this time. The device can record track points to a memory card, so the storage space isn't a problem. However, does Garmin Connect have some maximum limit of track points it can handle? If I create track points every 100m, I expect to get a route with about 20 000 track points. Can this cause problems? Has anyone uploaded tracks this long?
I am also wondering what is the max number of points possible per track segment before the GPS truncates or cuts off a track when uploading a track to a GPS, I know it is at least 500 points.
