Garmin, welcome to the AI age. Where every power user of Garmin will want to open up their data and feed it into AI. I have (personally, not enterprise) Claude, Gemini, and Copilot subs. I have fitness linked AI project/notebooks/gems in Gemini and Claude.
Right now to get data you have to go through a third party intermediary like Rod Trent's connector or Tredict.
I pay for the premium garmin connect service. Which, lets be honest, isn't very valuable.
It doesn't take a genius to say "if you want MCP access to be able to use your OWN compute that you pay for - Claude - then you need to pay for Garmin Connect + and then there's a garmin connector in the Anthropic library".
You ALREADY have the at-scale data platform.
You ALREADY have the at-scale APIs in the developer community.
This isn't rocket surgery or brain science. Let's go Garmin. Its 2026 - this is important enough to leave Garmin for Coros or Amazfit if I can get AI access there for a significant period of time with Garmin not making my data available in that way.
