Deleting part of a route?

Hi folks, I left my 705 on the bike switched on for the car journey back home from a ride. I need to delete the road section. Is there a simple way to edit the route to show just the off road sectoin of the bike ride? (has increased my max speed to 67mph tho!!!)

I just did the very thing for a river float trip. At first the total track showed over 7 miles. Because we would anchor and fish, the total just kept adding up.
After saving the active track in my 60CS and naming it, I loaded the track into Map source.
It's a little time consuming but zoom into the area you want to delete and then dbl click on the track. When you select a track section it will change color on the map. Much easier if you road trip was at the end of your ride. Select the last section and hit delete. Keep deleting the sections until you know you get to the part where you were riding.
