Issue with displaying weight and body composition metrics trends [BUG]

I don't know how long ago, but the display of body composition metrics (weight, BMI, Fat, Water, etc.) on Garmin Connect Web uses a range of values (minimum - maximum) that's too broad to observe changes. For example, if I take the body fat % as shown in the images, I see a range with minimum values of 14% and maximum values of 82%, while the same display in the Garmin Connect Mobile (Android) version uses a range with minimum values of 18% and maximum values of 24%.

The scale in the Connect Web version is clearly incorrect. Furthermore, a BF% value of 82% is incompatible with human life. The organism on planet Earth with the highest BF% appears to be the Euxoa auxiliaris moth larva, with an average of 72%.

This is clearly a bug in the Connect Web version.

  • No solution yet? I also still have the same problem.

  • NO SOLUTION..? Perhaps according to Garmin's scientific method, for a person weighing 73kg, it makes sense to set a Bone Mass scale of, say, 80kg or a BMI of 80. For a BMI scale of 80 to be useful, the subject would need to have a weight variation of more than 120kg.

USE THE SAME SCALE ON YOUR DESKTOP AS IN THE APP!!!

  • I put this in too.  I actually contacted the Garmin Scale people.  It's ridiculous there's no way to more easily report this.  It used to be correct.  It's doing the same scaling error with BMI.  It looks like they tried to create an overlay between weight and body fat, which makes NO sense to use the same scale. (And yes, not only is in incompatible with human life (I love this comment) but logically a percentage of body fat should not be able to exceed 100% and since my weight is in lbs, it currently is scaling body fat up to 156%.)
