About two months ago I posted here about connecting Claude to Garmin Connect via Tredict and MCP to create structured workouts and training plans. But I realized there is a much simpler and free entry point many of you might prefer first.
If you want to analyze your Garmin training with AI without installing anything or setting up things, you can take a look at the Tredict ChatGPT app. It works with a free ChatGPT account! You do not need ChatGPT Plus or any paid subscription to get meaningful AI analysis of your workouts.
It works by open the Tredict ChatGPT app in ChatGPT, connect your Garmin account to Tredict and then let ChatGPT analyze your training history, spot patterns in load and intensity, and give you feedback on your progress. You can even create structured workouts based on this analysis, that sync to your Garmin automatically.
In my view, this is currently the lowest-barrier way to get AI-powered training analysis for Garmin data. Just some clicks or taps away.
If you want to try it, just search Google for "tredict chatgpt" and you will find the official Tredict ChatGPT app right away.
I still think the Claude path with the Tredict MCP Server is the more powerful route if you later want to generate full training plans synced directly to your Garmin watch. But for getting started with AI and your existing Garmin data, the ChatGPT App is very neat.
