Does anyone know if there is digital map data available for Switzerland that can be copied onto a Garmin GPSMap 60csx ?
As far as I can see Swiss TOPO maps will let you plot and export routes but not the map data itself, and while this is very useful it is not great.
A parallel from the UK would be that Garmin TOPO (also other maps) for the whole country can be copied to the memory card in your Garmin GPS and then all you have to do is plot your hiking route on your PC then export the route to your GPS and hey presto you have your route overlayed on the map on your GPS.
If there was a Garmin Topo or equiv for Switzerland I would be very interested to know. Thanks
