I have a Garmin with arabic firmware v2.10 (that support english and arab language), and I would like to upgrade it to a French firmware (any firmware that support frensh language).
You must be the proud owner of a new Garmin Dakota (they ship with v2.10). :(
If I knew then what I know now (three weeks of product nightmare), there's no way I would have gotten sucked into spending $350 on a Dakota + another $100 to get a real map + rechargeable batteries + sales tax (nearly $500 total, not including time and gas). After chasing product availability around town, upgrading failing firmwares (2.80 and 2.90), exchanging products, endless web research, I'm exhausted.
All I wanted to do was track myself in the woods so I don't get lost, and find a few local geocaches. There's no way in hell the price tag is worth it.
