Edit Workout not working

Can't edit multisport activities in the web anymore:

1) Go to the multisport activity

2) Click on Strenght Activity

3) Click edit to change the excercises done.

4) The web will loop back to the Multisport activity.

It started aprox. 2 weeks ago. I tried with different web browsers but it's still the same.

Thanks!

Only work in the Garmin Connect App.

  • The editing of individual legs of Multisport activities works for me. Tested on Windows 11 with Chrome and Edge. Is it, in your case, a problem isolated to Multisport activities with a Strength leg, or with any other activity types as well?

When you click the button "Edit Legs" at the bottom of the Multisport Edit page, which then lets you select the leg from a dropdown select box, does it fail too?

Did you check the DevTools console of the browser for errors? Perhaps it could reveal where the problem comes from.

  • Watch 's video from 4 months ago. the exact same thing happens to me!

Something I haven't mentioned yet and might be important:
    Venu 4   SW:17.39
I start HIIT, then during Change Sport to Strength, which the watch converts into a Multisport, so this is not a pre-planned thing for me.

Is it, in your case, a problem isolated to Multisport activities with a Strength leg, or with any other activity types as well?

I tried one now where I paired different activities with each other, e.g. walking, cycling, it allows you to edit Multisport, but not HIIT and Strength. Then I had the idea that maybe one of the Connect IQ applications was interfering, so I made a copy of both so that there was only 1 data field, which is the built in heart rate.
But they are still wrong, these cannot be edited either.
By the way, if I do HIIT or Strength separately, they can be edited, so it shouldn't be a Connect IQ app error.

When you click the button "Edit Legs" at the bottom of the Multisport Edit page, which then lets you select the leg from a dropdown select box, does it fail too?

I don't know what you're talking about here, I don't have any of those, No "Edit Legs" buttons, the activity (inside Multisport) has icons, etc., watch the video in the previous post.

Did you check the DevTools console of the browser for errors? Perhaps it could reveal where the problem comes from.

I checked and realized that I'm not an expert. But I'm sure it's not a browser error, so I have nothing to do with it, the error is on Garmin's part.

  • It’s not just you—I can’t edit a strength activity that’s part of a multisport either. I often need to update strength activities to correct reps or weight, but it’s only possible through the app, not the web interface.

  • I think it's an issue with the "Strenght" Activity, doesn't matter the web browser.

I always start with a Strenght activity, then with my watch I hold the middle button, go with "change sport" and select "threadmill" or sometimes "eliptic", etc. doesn't matter.

Once done, i save the activity and this is saved as a "Multisport".

If then i got to the web connect app through a browser, I can't edit the "Strenght" activity within the "Multisport" (as in the video) but I can edit the other activity, for example I could edit the lenght in a threadmill run.

    Here's an additional example: https://drive.proton.me/urls/BEMX4V19CG#j9Dar2GakdPa

I can edit the "Eliptic" Activity within the Multisport

I can't edit the "Strenght" Acitivity within the same Multisport.

  • I too have experienced the same issue editing the strength leg of a multisport activity.  However, there is an issue editing a strength activity alone also.  I can edit the names, reps, or weight but as soon as I click save it loops me back to the exercise summary just like with the multisport.

  • This is a perfect description of the bug on the web version edit page.  It all started around July 2026.

  •    and  I re-sent the last email that we previously sent out so you can more easily find it. With those remaining details, we'll be able to submit that information to the team researching this further.

and  I sent you both an email. If you're interested in submitting the details to us, that will be very useful to our teams to further investigate the matter and update you all when we have a conclusion. Blush

  • I do Triathlon and I have the problem since this summer...

  • This thread is about editing a strength session that’s part of a multisport activity. If you’re experiencing problems with all your triathlons, we can check out a sample.
