Map only shows half of my laps.

I have set my Forerunner 405 to auto-laps of 1 km. For not-so-long runs, for instance 7 Ks, checking the "laps"-box displays all 7 points on the map.

For a 15 K bike ride on the other hand, the map only shows the odd numbered laps (1,3,5 etc.). That's pretty worthless to me, I want to see them all. Is that at all possible in Garmin Connect?

Thank you for any answers.

I noticed this too. Map lap markers are omitted in longer activities. Perhaps it was intentional to unclutter the map?

I would like to see all the lap markers too (they're there for a reason!). It's particularly useful to see lap marker locations when I'm trying to plan a new run based off an old running loop (eg, landmark A is 4 miles away from home, etc). In fact, I often upload a route to another site, like mapmyrun, with the sole purpose of seeing lap markers.

It would great to be able to see every lap on the map.
  • It's kind of amazing how restrictive Garmin Connect is with things like this. When I click "Laps" I want to see the laps. All of them. If they want to give me the option to show every third lap or every fifth lap they can do that but this should be in the user's control.
