Health (manual weight entry correction/deletion)

Hi,
I thought that the need for Manual weight entry deletion was acknowledged by Garmin.

I am a bit worried that this is not showing up in coming features in the GC "what's new" page.
Can someone on Garmin side confirm that this will be eventually fixed?

Thank you,

Benoit

PS: This is a totally different topic from having the ability to enter other fields without owning a tanita scale,
which is more problematic from a business perspective. This is not what I am trying to address here.
Please try to keep this thread on topic.

Hi Devon,

Thank you for taking the time to get involve in this discussion.

You are assumming that nobody will ever do a typo.
I agree that an inversion of month and day should be easy to recover.
But if you do a Typo in the "10" years, you can end up with a weight in year 209.
Well, I weighted 0kg in 209, but this make the graph unusable.
Please check the attached graph for reference.

Note: I made that typo on purpose, but I am sure that it is just a matter of time before someone else do it for real.

Good one. I haven't made any typo's yet, but if I will it's nice that it can be corrected.

  • I completely agree... I have put several weight values that now I want to delete, but i can only edit them.

  • I can't edit one?

How do I change the weight?

    Thanks

Go to myConnect section in Health TAB; now above the graph of the weight
click on manual input, select the right day and write the new value of the weight and ... that's all folks.

Weight value delete instead, is not possible for now.
  • Stupid health entry

    Hi

I do have a working Forerunner 610 with a Tanita scale, normally everything works great. But, last week I had to weight a suitcase, I did that by holding it stepping on the scale, since the scale dont have any display I used my 610 as display. Stupid. Now it saved very strange health data that is irrelevant to me and make myc graphs look terrible. Minor thing in a bigger perspective, but I really would like to just delete all health data for that day.

Couldn't support help me with that?, please!?
