Download tracks to Foretrex101

Hi, Tried to download to my foretrex 101 from garminconnect. I do not get the whole track but only I guess the first half. I tried two different tracks with the same result. Is there a limitation on this. The specs says 10000 track points I remember.

    Reason found

A saved tracklog on Foretrex 101 is limited to 500 points but the active tracklog holds upto 10000 points.

The reason for the download failure to my device is that the tracklogs are cut to 500 points on the device.

Any one know about a filter to apply to a tracklog? I do not really need all trackpoints with the resolution at the highest to reproduce the tracks I want...

    GPSExpert reduces tracklogs

I found that GPSExpert includes the functionality to reduce the tracklog to sub 500 points, by this it is possible for me to download tracks and to reduce the track in GPSExpert and upload the track to my Foretrex101.

A track reducer functionality is what I need in the download options of this site.

    No need to reduce tracklogs

I upload tracks to my Foretrex 101 every week. These tracks are generally old tracklogs saved to my computer, they are not limited to 500 trackpoints (typically 1000-2000 trackpoints), nor did I reduce them before upload.

I use a third party software called GPS Trackmaker (http://www.gpstm.com). The upload result in a new active track (presumably limited to 10000 trackpoints). Maybe your software is sending data as "saved tracklogs" instead of "active tracklog"?
