1. Go here and download 'Dakota_WebUpdater_270.gcd'. (Oregon users having similar issues can swap out "Dakota" for "Oregon" in the URL, and search the files for version 3.20. However, I was unable to perform this downgrade successfully on my Oregon. I was successful on the Dakota).
2. Rename this file to 'gupdater.gcd'.
3. Connect your Dakota and open it as a drive in My Computer, then copy the file into the Garmin folder.
4. Safely remove the device from your PC and reboot the Dakota.
