Why does a 10km Hiking activity does not fulfil the 5km Walking challenge?? Walking challenges should be fulfilled by all walking activities, including Hiking... It does not make any sense, or am I seeing it wrong?

    Maybe should, maybe should not, depends on the view. But regardless of our opinions, Hiking simply does not count towards Walking challenges and badges. Though, if you want the badge, there is nothing simpler than just change the type of the already recorded activity to Walking. And as the monthly challenge badges (unlike ordinary badges) remain awarded once done, you can then change the activity type back to Hiking again.
