How do I add shoes from my gear list to an activity?

I have added two pairs of shoes, which are visible in the Gear section. However, in an activity pressing Add from top of the page or on the right hand side in the Gear section, the website only opens up the dialogue of creating new gear.

Shouldn't there be an option just to choose any from the list?

But I have already shoes I would like just to SELECT:

    What's the date of the activity?  From the images the gear was added 15.03.. i think if the activity was earlier you can't add tthose shoes.. unless you change the "first use" date accordingly.

    Hi Stephan and thank you so much!

    Changing the "First use date" made the shoes available to add easily to my previous runs. I had missed that as I just added the pairs today.

    All good now! :)
