Garmin Jump Rope Badges

The only jump rope badge that will go through is the first one, after that Garmin for some reason doesn't count anymore to give you the other badges.  I have probably recorded 50 jump rope sessions and have never gotten the one for 10 jumps, and it doesn't show me a count down to the 100 jumps.

  • Ok. So you are not actually logging it as Jump Rope since you are using a Connect IQ app instead of a native Jump Rope app. Then they are probably logged as Other or maybe Cardio. To get them to count for Jump Rope badges you have to change the type to Jump Rope.

To get the 30 minutes jumping badge you can to log it as Strength. Then change it to Jump Rope. That way the total time will count as Jump Time. It will not work with Cardio since the time is counted differently.

  •  it logs it as cardio and I change it to jump rope, can I remove the IQ app?

  • I've sorted it I think, thank you for your patients and help!

  • Great that it is fixed now.

If you don't have the native Jump rope app (only available on som watches) then the Connect IQ app can be nice to use. It will set the title and count the reps.

It is only for the 30 minutes Jump Rope badge you need to use Strength.

You can't get the 15000 badge without the native app so don't go for that one without a watch that got the native app.
