I often use my phone to record « communting tracks » as a complement of my fr305.
But garmin connect cant handled the gpx file produced by the “my tracks application”
If some one want to have a look, a sample is attached ;)
I was thinking of that solution when on vaccation. But my Android phone (HTC Desire) won´t let me upload "any file" when I´m manually trying to upload a GPX-file or TCS-file to Garmin Connect. When clicking on the button Browse my Desire just let me upload things from Gallery, Voice Recordings och a Music Clip (*.JPG, *.WAV?, *.MP3...)
I want to be able to upload any file. Solutions anyone?
A File Manager solved the problem when attaching files to an email but this is inside the web browser.

You will need to manually edit the file...open it in a text editor (such as notepad, etc.) and replace this:
Yes this manual edit of the file will work, but here is another option.
If you have MapSource.
The original "Parcours6.gpx" file loaded directly into MapSource just fine.
Then I did a "Save As" as a gpx and overwrote the first gpx file.
The second gpx file manually loaded into Garmin Connect just fine, no editing.
I have no solution on getting the original gpx files directly from the phones into GC on the web.
