Import GPX Running Activities

I'm trying to import GPX Running Activities in the app. But they get saved as 'Other Activity'. There is option to edit the imported activity and change it to 'Running' but there are approx 500 such activities and it would be very much time consuming to update all activities manually one by one. So I wanted to know if there is any alternative way to bulk import GPX Running Activities and save them as original (as running)?

I found a tool called GMaps To GPX (https://gmapstogpx.com/) that might help - it converts Google Maps routes to GPX files and supports various formats. For your bulk import issue, you might want to check if there's a way to pre-tag your activities before import, or use Garmin's CSV import feature if available. The GPX files from GMaps To GPX are compatible with Garmin devices and should import cleanly. Hope this helps!
