My activities uploaded since the change do not have elevation correction enabled. I have a Forerunner 310XT, which does not have a barometric altimeter. Reading the Connect Update, I am lead to believe automatic elevation corrections should be applied.
From the Garmin Blog:
"For new uploads Corrections will be applied automatically (for activities recorded with non-barometric altimeter enabled devices)."
