Upload problem from Edge705 to Garmin Connect

Uploaded my first ride (since I bought the device) fine but have been unable to upload my second ride, as Garmin connect do not see it, even though it is stored in the History folder of my Edge705 as .tcx file (all seems normal). Tried Manual Upload but does not work.
Any ideas?

Maybe there's something wrong with the tcx file. If you post it here someone will take a look at it.

It looks like the tcx file is incomplete. I fixed it but only 20 out of 36 miles is included in the file. I'm attaching the fixed file. You may be able to recover the rest of the file by saving it as a course (on the Edge 705) and then converting the course to a history file using TCX Converter. See the following post for instructions on doing this: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?t=2285

Thanks again JONEISEMAN. I now can see part on my ride. Will take a look at the thread indicated to see if I can recover the rest. Any idea how can this problem be prevented going forward?
    Cheers

Do you hold down the lap button until the countdown 3-2-1 when the ride is finished? Doing this at the end of the ride should cause the tcx file to be written out properly.

Maybe I did not do that step properly. Will make sure next time. Thanks!
