The latest update to the Connect environment demanding FLASH is a regressive step. Garmin what are you thinking of. At least if you insist on using Flash provide an alternative, AJAX, HTMLv5 or Silverlight.
You have succeeded in rendering your site only partially functional to 64bit users and also alienated MAC users who are sick and tired of having their systems Cooked by the CPU hogging behaviour of FLASH.
Flash is a buggy technology that causes Mac users and Windows users alike a lot of strife with its processor hogging behaviour. For those of you who do not realise it FLASH will literally COOK your CPU. Mac users have know this for a while and that is why many no longer install it and most mature websites are now moving off Flash recognising the problems.
Not to mention the increase in consumer grade 64bit systems, which FLASH doesn’t even support as it’s only a 32bit technology! Adobe have had the message up that a 64bit version is coming but that has been there for over 18 month’s with NO show.
