I've tried all your solutions, and nothing. I'm running W7 Pro 64b, and IE 9 with compatibility view activated, My privacy profile is private, but all my activities appear as public. I change the locker, by clicking on it and/or by quick edit, then clicking on to finalize, but changes don't save. When I return to the activity the locker is open.
Please, any recent solution? Before this summer everything was working perfect.

I can verify that your "Madrid Corre por Madrid 2011" of Sep 25 is public.
I searched your name in Explore and it brought of 5 of your activities.
Gerrycan, I'll like some of those activities were private, and I can't do it. The locker icon seems work, but at the end always appears as public.
And another issue is that when I share activities with my friends (by copy/paste the link of a public one), most of the times they can't open it.
I think all of this happens since last summer update.
I tested using one of my activities. I am able to toggle it using the icon on the detail page. I change it from public to private, then I go to Dashboard. When I select and display the activity again, and it has been changed to private. The same is true when I change it back to public.
I am using Windows 7 home premium, with Internet Explorer 8. Have you tried using another browser? I haven't downloaded IE9 yet because people have reported various problems in the forums.
No way, man. I've tried with IE8, IE9, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Crome. Everytime the same: I turn off the privacy, and when came back to the activity it appears as public.

Seems strange. It works as expected for me, and I haven't seen anyone else complain of that particular problem.

I have the same problem. It's imposible to make private any of my activities.
This happens about two weeks ago, since GARMIN published some changes in GARMIN connect.
Are there someone from GARMIN reading this? Please fix this bug. We don't like to show all out private information.

Clicking the padlock icon on the Activity Details screen works for me.
It locks and unlocks the activity.
How are you trying to do it?
