Copy food in nutrition

We need the ability to copy an entire meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

I got a take-out stir fry.  I had to modify it a fair amount after taking a pic.  It was all recorded under dinner.

I ate half a few days ago, today I will eat the other half.

I can only see the option to copy each item individually, then edit its date and time.

This is very time-consuming.

  • Agreed. It is a barrier to it replacing my use of MyFitnes Pal. Mostly because of how awkward it is to use. 

  • I'm trying to talk my wife into it, but she's using MFP, and there is no comparison to how much easier that is.

  • Hi - For meals I repeat often or split over days, I have been using create a meal. You get there by hitting plus to add a meal, then choose my meals, create meal.  You then only have to scan or add the items that make up that meal the first time and save it.  Once saved it is there unless you decide to delete it.   After i have created and saved a meal, I click dinner add for example, then my meals and select from my saved options.  From there you can click and change serving size to 1/2…etc.  Not sure if that helps, but that is what I have setup for my most common breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Now it takes me only a couple seconds to add my meals each day.  I repeat a lot of the same meals however so maybe not ideal for everyone.
