Garmin Connect RSS Feed Issues

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but the RSS feed that is available on the myConnect Dashboard does not seem to be updating. In my case, the last activity shown on the RSS feed is from 3/21/2010, but I have several workouts after that date.

This is the first time I've used the RSS feed, so I don't know how frequently it is updated. I figured that it would be a real-time update when new activities are posted.

Any one else experiencing this problem or know who to contact for issues with the website?

  • Yes, exactly the same problem for me. I've checked that my settings are on Public - they are. Can't figure it out.

    I've also noticed that it is picking up some activities in the history and not others. Are others experiencing the same issue?

    RSS Feed is not updating here as well

    just uploaded about 50 activities to Garmin Connect (why 50? because I suck) a few days ago, but my RSS feed only shows the last activities before the big upload. Most likely it's not a dynamic process, and the batch process is either running on a really crazy long schedule, or all is broken. Garmin, this is a trivial matter to fix, please get on it. Thanks!

    RSS Problems

    I have as well some problems with the rss feed. I tried it out the first time now, having uploaded around 6 activities some days ago. When clicking on the rss icon, an error page opens stating: Sorry, but it appears that an error occurred. I hope this will be fixed soon.

    Same thing

    Hey - This is happening to me as well. I am also looking at the history in the training ON the actual watch and there is nothing in history. I have trained each day since the last upload which has been a full week. Any advice?
  • There are several threads on problems with RSS. As far as I can tell, activities do not show up in an RSS feed if they are manual activities and/or activities that do not contain any track data. I am not quite sure which one of the two causes this. I have yet to see a response from Garmin on this ...

    I have also noticed that sometimes it takes a couple of days before the feed to my blog refreshes. However, the only activities that never show up are the ones I input manually, like my lap swims.

    Same Issue for me

    I have the same issue. I noticed that manual activities do not show up, however, I have also noticed that at times it takes weeks for a new activity to show up. Right now I have at least one non-manual activity that does not appear on the RSS feed.

    Having same RSS feed issue

    Rss won't update to reflect my Garmin Connect stats. Did this issue ever get resolved? It doesn't seem so??

    Same here - RSS feed from Garmin Connect dashboard loads nothing. I noticed in the feed some spaces and saw on another forum a suggestion to use a URL shortening service, which I did. Still nothing.

    Turns out despite that the RSS feed still contains no data and Im told its a Garmin issue.
