Corrupted Fit file

Hi,

Could somebody help a friend of mine who's file was corrupted. He saved the activity (70km trail run) and his Fenix 7 pro shut down and restarted telling him his activity was invalid.

Now we tried to get it fixed with different apps, but none of them gives us back every piece of data you normally have for such activity.

@seilogramp, I know I asked you a time ago to fix my triathlon file and it worked perfectly. You told me with what you had done it so, before I wrote this, I tried but I couldn't make that program work on my PC. Is there a chance you or somebody else can fix this file.

I just see that I can't even upload the file in question, is there a way to fix this?

Most activity issues can be fixed with FIT File Viewer.

If you’re still having trouble uploading the repaired file, attach it to this thread so we can see if it’s fixable.

Zip the file, then in your reply go to Insert >> Image/video/file >> Upload >> browse for the file >> OK.
Or, you can upload the FIT file to a trusted file-sharing service like OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox, set it to public, and share the link in your post.

This is the file. I've downloaded the program you mention but for me it just opens Microsoft Access and tells me not all content is available and that I need to unlock it somehow.

FIT File Viewer does not require a download. It works in the browser.

FIT File Viewer was able to fix the activity. Tested and uploaded fine to my own account as a 70 km trail run.

Yes, Fit File Repair Tool requires a Windows computer with MS Access installed. Additionally, you'd need to purchase a license to save any repaired files.
