Garmin Cycle Club

Just got an email from Garmin telling me to make sure I sign up my "Running Club, Triathlon Club, or Cycling Club" to one of the Garmin Club websites.

So off I go to http://www.garmincycleclub.co.uk/ which then tells me to "...Visit connect.garmin.com and set your club up with a FREE Garmin Connect Account."

I go to Garmin Connect and can't find any mention of any clubs or anything that looks new or different anywhere on the site. I can't find anything about clubs or adding friends or anything in my settings.

On the off-chance it's something only visible when you set up a new account, I sign-out and go through the process of setting up a new account. Again, no mention of clubs, nothing different that I can see from the normal account.

Anyone know what's going on with this?

Garmin Connect is pretty basic and doesn't offer much in the way of social networking. I haven't seen any mention of a club capability native in GC.

I have, however, received a few emails from the Garmin marketing department that made me scratch my head and wonder they were talking about.

Looks to me like it's nothing more than a number of people sharing the same log-in.

Let's Work On The Garmin.com Site ! ! !

Garmin web site could stand some serious work. I can navigate the GPS, but I'll be damned if I can find anything on the site.

Finally figured out that the forums use URL:

I can't find a "link" on the "Dashboard" or "Home" . . .
