Unknown cable delivered with my Garmin 1490T

Hello,

I received my 1490T today and with it came a small cable. One end has a small plug and on the other side something that looks like a microphone. The cable also came with 2 suction cups. I suppose it is a microphone for handsfree calling, but where do I plug it in? I can't find any connection point on the unit.

Edit: Should have looked a bit further. It fits to the power cable, so I guess it is a traffic receiver.

Thanks in advance.

If it's a microphone, check the window/car mount. There will be a socket on the mount for the mic plug:D

Correct, Its to improve the traffic reception if you find you don't get any signal when driving. The power cable has a traffic cable built in so you may find you won't need to use this extension cable.
