Ability to have recurring goals

The ability to set up recurring goals is an absolute must. The ability to have a weekly or monthly goal that automatically starts over every week/month is extremely motivating.

For example - I'd like to set a goal of running 15 miles every week or 60 miles of biking every week. I should be able to set these to automatically happen each week - without going through the trouble of restablishing a new goal every single week.

The "goal" feature is seriously missing usability without this feature.

    I really need this, right now I have to enter the same distance target every week. Any comment from Garmin?

    What would be better then just recurring goals (although i agree this is necessary), would be to be able to see a current timeline graph of goals vs actuals.

    ie you want to ride 200km a week every week, but if you ride 1 week of 150 and the next 250km it would show that you are still on track overall.

    Being able to enter another time period other than: 7 day, 30 day or calendar month would be nice also. It's so limited.

    Yeah, the 7 day, 30 day or calendar month thing sucks. My cycles are 8 weeks, so these periods are at best useless for me.

    Recuring Goals - not limited to future time frame

    At the moment, you can only set up a goal starting "now." It can't include the past. Say you got in a good run yesterday and surprised yourself with another good run today. You want to set up a goal to have 30 miles of running by the end of the week. Right now, yesterday's run is history (pun intended) and you can't include it in the goal.

    I don't profess to know if this is an easy change, but it would be a nice extra feature - including the past in the goal.

    Calorie Goals - each week/month

    Another example of why recurring goals would be very helpful...

    I'd like to set up a recurring goal to burn 3,500 calories a week - regardless of the exercise type. Some weeks I might make it, some I don't. Having the goal there every time I open up Garmin Connect is a motivator. It makes me want to get in something on the last day of my goal week - just to meet the goal.

    At the moment, I have to remember to set up the goal on the exact day the last goal ended. Not very user friendly.

    Please Garmin - focus on this one for the next update!

    Recurring Goals

    Garmin - any feedback on the possibility of recurring goals on garmin connect?

    There are a lot of people that would really like to see the seemingly simple feature added!

    I was a bit surprised I couldn't figure out how-to add recurring goals.
    Adding that would be handy.
