I am not sure if this is a map or GPS problem. I drive on the HWY 401 in Toronto everyday. My Nuvi 1490T can't identify my car on the Express lanes. The unit keeps asking me to keep left or right on the Collector even when I am on the Express lanes ! There are spots where the two lanes are not even close to each other - and yet the unit still thinks I am on the Collector lane. Is this a map, unit, or GPS error. This is of concern since sometimes you have some exits that are available only on the collector side and if you are on the express, you`ll miss them.
This afternoon, I checked to see if the lane assist will show up correctly - the lane assist came on and showed the lanes and exit signs for the collector lanes, not the correct ones for the express lanes. This confirms that the unit does not recognize the fact that I am on the Express lanes. This is driving me nuts !
Any ideas please.
